Life

Let them live their life....

Sometime back I happened to visit Musandam and had a chance to swim in the sea. I was very scared to do that though I learnt swimming. There was a little boy who pulled my attention towards him. A little one maybe 4 years old... when the entire session started he was clinging his dad's shoulders with a life jacket... then I noticed that he keeps changing his hands as it might ache... slowly he started moving along... maybe after an hour I saw him swimming between his mom and dad who were at a little distance apart.... It was more like a cycling only, but somehow he managed... Though I know that people from western nations are like this I was carried away at that point with the “crash course” swimming program.

My mind had a small comparison with our Indian kids...
The courage they give to their children is immense... they let them work on their likes...ok now let us think for a moment... when a kid is brought up, is that the don’ts are more than the do’s?
We think that all they do will end up in trouble...don’t go there, don’t play here, don’t take this, don’t drop this... I think this is wrong... is that not????? Now many might come up with controversies that we keep up culture, create a secure environment for the kids and whatnot... Yes, I do agree with it... but have we ever thought about what they lose in their life? the courage, the fun do doing great things, the wider perspective of life...
The courage which we give is very minimal that the kid hardly will have the gut to survive alone... you might question me why alone? It’s like preparing for the worst... and even sometimes for the best... I know a girl who is very intelligent but did not pursue her higher studies at abroad just with the fear that she cant manage herself alone out there in that very fast world.... who’s fault is that???? How many of the parents let their kids walk alone in night? How many of them let them play with delicate things at home? We are scared that they might get lost, they might get hurt, they might learn bad things, they might go away from us.... yes all these might happen sometime... but I tell you that committing a mistake is the best way to learn the right thing... though we don’t have enough time to learn by committing all the mistakes by our self that is why people say that learn from others mistake... But people please don’t misunderstand a mistake of a crime... that is wrong...
we can give the liberation to kids to an extent that the negative impact will not give a lifetime burn. For which parents have to be more responsible... I agree that we bring up kids with the great moral values and traditional concepts.. but we must understand that this is not all that is important in live... its the struggle of survival... once your kid breaks a glass and gets hurt it knows that it should never again handle it lightly... but there is a common mistake which most of the parents do... they say not to touch this and that... but if the kid goes further and happens to get hurt then instead of soothing them they scold them... is this the right way to grow a kid????? Don’t you think that here the seed of fear is planted????? a kid has to be brought up just with God fear nothing else... moral values, respect for elders, respect for culture and rest all comes along as a package... instead of buying this big offer for them we, in turn, miss the main thing but spend unnecessarily on petty stuff... and how many of us let the kids learn what they want and do what they like?
Have you guys noted a person doing freehand sketches???? It comes so very well... they call it the flow of their creativity... A good artist will never use a scale and drafters to limit them... letting your kids grow with no limitation is like a free hand art... they will definitely come out very well... all you have to do is give them the hints or the markup endpoints...... I know many kids whose are interested in fashion designing and interior decoration has been forced to pursue the so-called best education ‘the engineering’ in their life.. being skilled personals they might fair well in anything but have you ever thought that they had lost their self-satisfaction forever... of course I do agree that parents have a fore-thinking and they think about the job opportunity and money they earn... but why do we fail to understand that if a person is deciding on their future they will also be ready to face the consequences... and for that matter every coin has 2 sides... very few go against their parents and pursue what they like... what do they get in turn if at all they fail at some point…mere criticism... by their own parents...
why don’t we support for anything that their heart desires??? Either we should be able to list all the pros and cons of our kid's decision and let it make its own decision else we should be capable enough to support them in any point of their life for what they have done... if their decision is not a fruitful one then definitely your justification will change their mindset.. Else what they are doing is right somewhere... how many of us are ready to accept it? Let it be an education of their choice to a bride of their own....

IN A NUT SHELL THE RIGHT WAY OF NUTURING IS NOT FOLLOWED... THEIR OWN SPACE IS LOST IN THEIR CHILDHOOD WHICH PREVENTS THEM FROM SELF THINKING... Lets leave our kids to live their life with our full support for them in our lifespan....

Growing

Is this the way to grow?

This has been troubling me since long but off late it has become a million dollar question..... Our country.... why is it this way? No respect for knowledge no values for sincerity and principles... nothing happens straight.....
The biggest devil corruption occupies each and every corner.... all our taxes go in vain... Countries those lacking natural resources, countries which got independence after us and those that were completely ruined by bombs is now well ahead of us in everything... Even after seeing their growth we don’t move our country forward but in turn, relocate ourselves there for our survival... Literates are dictated by illiterates, a lot of turbulence is created for a minimal change, lack of oneness... what not? When u think about the natural resource that we have its boundless… When u think about the problems even that is boundless… same as with the pain to a common man Have you ever thought about all this anytime before? Did we, as a country grow in the right way? At least in the appropriate way?
We speak democracy, secularism and lot more... but have we ever realized that we are fooling ourselves with all these great terminologies? What did we gain by doing so? I find that a rulers nation is far better than ours...they consider the entire country as their home...have we ever done that? Did you question yourself why?
We do a lot of higher studies. earn more, grow in our wealth buy a car and a house and walk out of certain problems... but have we ever thought of raising our voice on the bad public transport in our country that runs in our tax money? when we call a government for the people that mean the 200% comfort of the common people... when we can fight for a small thing within our family so much why not for this great cheating happening around us?
yes, we are least bothered about all these because we have better options for our comfort but you know what we are one big reason for this state of our country... definitely, a well-off person would have stood in front of a municipality office for EB connection'..... How many of us had adopted a fair way to get what we needed? We ourselves had poisoned the community by bribing them for one or the other.... we pay more for something which is determined to be got in a cheaper rate... is this right? Have you ever knocked you're conscious on this?
I know one person raising their voice will definitely end up in turmoil for the individual... but why not all of us do? I am ashamed to say that we are the heirs of people who with their great courage chased a foreign conqueror out of the country… we don’t have the courage to fight for these petty things that together spoil the entire decorum of our country.... Not only here but also in the telephone office, government office, registration office, ration office, police dept, water dept, schools, colleges here there and where not? We fail to fight against all these but we fight to a roadside seller to reduce the rate of fruits and vegetables? Where are we actually supposed to show our anger and power? Is that because those sellers are weaker than us that we fight with them? If so is that not cowardness?
And the election how many of us take it seriously? The importance is very less than to a college election even.... And the most surprising point is upper-class people ignore it more than the middle-class people….. why are we reluctant towards it? Do U ALL BELEIVE THAT PARENTS WITH HIGH MORAL VALUES BRING UP KIDS AT THEIR BEST does this not apply to the leaders of a great country? They are here to serve us... what do we do when our maid doesn’t do her work properly? This has to be done even to our leaders... y is that not? Is that because we get what we want and not bothered about the country? Our country is almost getting rotten by all these... what I have mentioned is not even a percent of the problems there... but a small change in little thing will definitely bring a great difference...
I as an individual had lived up to my conscious of not doing all of the above and have been fighting everywhere but ended up in pains... I am not surprised about that because our country is so much adulterated that removing a single stone from the rice is not going to cook a good food.... my question is why is it not triggering each individual? more to speak on is about poverty, beggars, stray animals that harm people, sexual crime...some countries had graded begging to be a crime... an individual has to work once he is 16 years... is that the case in our country? We cannot insist so as the current political situation cannot support employment to all learned individuals... there the problem is... this ends up also in burglary, and lot more crimes... when countries with nothing had become great nations definitely we can also become... It’s good to be late than never... still we can make a difference and correct those mistakes which are more to blunder..... But the assured fruit of it will be reaped after a generation or so.... but for the benefit of each of our kid...shall, we join our hands for that? Give a thought on this......
